Happy February!

Time to get back on the blog-horse. January just passed me by with the sickness & hustle & bustle in our house. Even throughout being sick & taking care of a sick kiddo, I still managed to get a few new layouts created. Here are a few:

The above layout was created with Black & White World kit by AneczkaW at Digidesignresort.com and CK Ali's Hand Font. I experimented a little with this layout by creating a black & white layer and then erasing parts to show K in color. It was a bit tricky with her peeking around the cabinet, but I think I like the overall outcome. I really like the Christmas lights sparkling off the glass adding to the photo.
The above layout was also created with Black & White World kit by AneczkaW found at Digidesignresort.com.
I created the above layout yesterday to enter into a Quote Challenge contest at digiridooscraps.com. The quote was provided to us & you find a way to use it in a layout, then on February 25th a poll will be posted on the website to vote for best layout. That layout chosen will be featured in the March Newsletter.
I used several kits by Dana's Footprint Designs from digiridooscraps.com including:
Grace Collaboration kit by Dana's Footprint Designs and Caffeine Created Designs, Amazon Butterfly kit, Amazon Butterfly Alphas, A Day in the Garden kit, A Day in the Garden Template, Designer's Notes Font.
Created with a mini kit by Simple Girl Scraps called Happiness Is that is part of My Creative Life Collaboration Happiness Is kit featured at ScrapDelicious.com by designers Simple Girl Scraps, Tallula Moon Designs, ScrapALatte Designs. Black SF Font also used.
This layout was also created with the mini kit by Simple Girl Scraps called Happiness Is that is part of My Creative Life Collaboration Happiness Is kit featured at ScrapDelicious.com by designers Simple Girl Scraps, Tallula Moon Designs, ScrapALatte Designs. Also used Black Solid Alpha by Simple Girl Scraps.
I really loved the little bugs in this kit and was so happy I found a use for them.

So hopefully, sickness is banned from our house for a long time & I will get back into the regular swing of things and back to posting at least once a week.
