Whew - this month has flown by and I was just glad to get a little bit of crafting in.
This is a card I made at a crop I attended.... it looks so simple & when Rachel showed us, it's almost like one of those light bulb moments. She has such great ideas for her make-and-takes.
This card idea was created by Rachel Loesch, who wouldn't take credit for it & said she saw it on Pinterest.
Rachel embossed the white & turquoise cardstock, had us glue those two together. Then we tied a ribbon along the edge & glued that down. On the largest circle, we stamped a sentiment of our choosing. Then glued 3 different sized circles from patterned papers to the right side of the card. We added a few adhesive backed sequins to the card and poof, how simple.
I have always loved creating things with my hands & had gotten out of the habit with having little ones around all the time, I focused mainly on my digital scrapbooking.
Now, I'm dabbling in just about everything.
I've been creating cards to build up my stash because I have a really hard time paying so many $$$ for a store bought card. My thought when I see them in the store is, well I have all the stuff at home to create a card and I put it back & go home.
The card above was created using Finding the Words Stamp Set from CTMH's newest Inspiration book.
This set will be added to my stash pretty soon.
I love being able to spend the time with this group of ladies & 'Get My Craft' on each month or as often as I can.

Hope you feel a bit of inspiration today!
