I love being able to customize things with my cutting machines.
For this particular project, I used both my Silhouette machine & my Cricut machine.
Here are my notes... I keep an idea book & write or sketch out ideas that I get & want to make.
Here is the outside of my card.
My friend was having a Casino night 30th birthday party & I was bummed we had just moved & couldn't attend it... so I thought I'd send something personal & special.
The card base was cut using the Artistry Cricut Cartridge which is exclusive to Close to My Heart.
I created the Roulette wheel by tracing an image in my Silhouette program and then cutting it from white & black cardstock. I cut the "30" out of glitter paper to make it pop.
Then I used a combination of cuts for the inside.
The poker chips were also a cut from the Artistry cartridge by CTMH.
The deck of cards & dice were cuts I created using my Silhouette.
I stamped Birthday Wishes using a CTMH stamp set called Seaside Greetings.
And then I created & printed the poem on cardstock & matted with with red cardstock.
Then I just couldn't stop... I needed an envelope.
I found a free cut file from svgcuts.com for a "Vegas" sign and just had to add that too.
Then I used this handy envelope tool a friend gave me and created my custom sized envelope.
Here is the outside of the envelope.
And I just couldn't stop there. Photo booths & props are all in, so I created some photo booth props....
Here is my finished card & envelop.
And the inside of the card.... I love this card base as it is also a gift card holder.
I packaged all this up with the skewers & tape, so all she would need to do is open and tape on the skewers to the photo props.
There are so many possibilities when you are combining cuts, stamps and supplies.
The possibilities are endless!!!
