Doll diapers morph into baby gift

And one project morphs into another.....

So last week I shared my baby doll diapers creation.... You can see that post HERE.

Since I of course bought way too much fabric for just a few baby doll diapers, I had plenty of leftover fabric to make a few baby girl burp clothes for a baby gift. 

And I didn't have to go buy any new supplies, just go dig in a sewing box for the other supplies.
Shopping in my own craft store. 

Now I only wish that I had known about these before I had my babies....
I think it was after I had our youngest baby that I saw some Mom who had these "fancy" burp cloths.

I think she said she had bought them online & I'm sure paid a lot more than I did.

Of course, what do I say to myself.... well heck, I can make those.
And I have been ever since. 

They are super easy and since you can use whatever fabric you love, they are so wonderful to give as a gift. These cloth diapers with a bit of fabric sewn on make a great burp cloth that you can take with you anywhere and throw in the washer when you get home.
