June recap

Well, since it looks like a full month has gone by since my last blog post - let's do a month recap.

Even though I haven't had a blog post, I have lots of projects going on, lots in stages & many more on the brain.

First and foremost, I'm trying to do more crafts with the kids since it's summer break.

Sometimes that is easy & other times it's quite the disaster, especially when the age ranges are 3-7 years.

Here is one of the first ones we did....

I of course found this on Pinterest, where I find most of my ideas.

Every child is different... even if they are the same age, they may not have the same skill level. 

Some kids handle a glue bottle better than others..... and the little ones do great with this when Mom is in charge of the glue bottle.

Yes, for those of you counting... I did acquire an additional child for this craft. 

My youngest loved making this!

We also visited a local park that we will frequent this summer, but it was great to check it out while my oldest was in school to get the lay of the land.....

Where we are currently living, school is in session until mid-June... so we had a Muffins with Moms earlier this month....

We had a new roof & gutters replaced due to hail damage..... the storms this year have been wild. They seem to follow us where ever we move.....

Last minute hair bows and my oldest Patriotic program. I'm so glad they still do these things......

Checked out our Summer bowling program....

Made lego balloon cars.....

Teacher appreciation & bus driver appreciation gifts - still last minute but getting better....

Signing up for the summer reading program at the local library.....

Softball championship & making the All Star Team.....

My July card kit with CTMH products....

Avengers curtains for my son's room..... still need to finish the girl's curtains... PHD....

Swim lessons for 2 weeks with all 3 of the kids.....

Sewing a picnic cloth for the kid's to play with.....

So while I haven't had a chance to actually put my projects to type on the blog... it's still been quite a busy month..... whew! Just looking back, I didn't realize how busy it really was.....
