In Loving Memory

In February 2009 sadly Amy was killed in a car accident and just recently her little dog Ollie passed away. When it happened I had goals of making a scrapbook in her memory, but so far I haven't been able to do that. This is the first scrapbook layout that I have completed in her honor. We all miss her!

I have been a Creative Design team member for a website called digidesignresort and use digital scrapbooking kits to make layouts that showcase a designer's products. This product is called Secret Garden and is a collaboration of several designer's with one common theme.
I designed several layouts & tossed them all out because none of them were just right. This digital kit is awesome & there are lots of great items in there to use, but I struggled finding the right photos to do the product justice. On this particular one I was really struggling with the "perfect" layout for the kit and then I thought of Amy & everything just seemed to fall into place. So I thought this would be the perfect layout to begin my blogging experience with.
Lately, I have been getting into "clustering" different elements together to create the "perfect" art on a page. It takes me quite awhile to come up with something that I will keep and sometimes it all just goes out the window anyhow, but I am enjoying using the different elements that each digital kit comes with to create a unique cluster.
