I'm back to show you another card I created with April's featured Stamp.
Have you heard the term 2nd Generation stamping?
I love all the ways an image can turn out with this.
When you ink a stamp & stamp it down, that is your 1st Generation stamp.
If you stamp the image down again (without inking it), that is a 2nd Generation stamp.
Your image is muted & not as vibrant as the 1st Generation.
You can even do a 3rd Generation stamp & go again.....
All of these can create a unique design using just the 1 stamp.
All of these can create a unique design using just the 1 stamp.
This technique can be used with many different kinds of stamps, such as a flower that has a background & a outline.
You stamp the background using the 2nd Generation technique & then use the 1st Generation with the outline, all in the same color.
For the camera card above, I used the CTMH Ink Blot stamp set (D1660) for the background and used a combination of 1st, 2nd & 3rd Generation stamping to get the different shades of ink.
I used Life In Pictures for the camera
And for the Sentiment I used a stamp called Birthday Calligraphy (M1124)
Other supplies used: CTMH inks & CTMH cardstock
Grab this stamp set only in the month of April for $5 with any $50 purchase.
I am really enjoying all the possibilities with this stamp set.
Enjoy!
EllyMae!
