Well, this week has not gone according to any plan if I had one.
Between 2 sick kiddos, hubby being home sick & me fighting off the cold too, I still did manage to get a few projects done.
I have yet to do any digital scrapbooking this week, but I think these projects are big ones to cross off my to-do want list.

First up, I made signs to hang up in the kid's rooms.
I started by purchasing a 2 pack of 11x14 canvas at Joann crafts. Actually, I should say that I started by designing all the lettering in Cricut Design Studio - this was probably the most time consuming part of the project.
I then cut out all of the wording and made sure it fit or tweaked it until it did.
Then I was able to get out my vinyl scraps and start cutting out the words to use as my mask.
It doesn't matter what color it is because you just end up peeling it off in the end and are left with the negative white space.
Then I chose my paint color and spread
out my drop cloth and started painting away.... this was by far the
easiest part of the process. I waited
a little bit for it to dry, but didn't want to wait too long because I
wanted to make sure I could peel the vinyl off the canvas.
