Popping in

The Just wanted to pop in to say I'm still here, but have been away from the computer. 

Friday we had a craft night and although I still need to put the finishing touches on them, I made 20 cards. 

I used an awesome stamp set that was December's special from Close to My Heart and found the design idea in an older CTMH catalog. Thank you Rachel for lighting that crafty bug again! I just have such a hard time paying $4-7 for a card in the store when I have all the supplies to make them.

Saturday my husband and I ran away on a much needed overnight date night. We enjoyed a few meals together without having to feed any other mouths or have multiple potty breaks throughout the meal. Watched a great movie called the Imitation Game, which I highly recommend and then just relaxed. On the way home we took in another movie called Horrible Bosses 2..... It was ok but I don't think it's on my list to own, seeing it once was enough. Maybe it would have been better if I had seen the first one???

I do have to share the only photo I took from our little "trip"..... Our hotel had some rather interesting wall paint. This is from the bathroom in our hotel room.... Thankfully the rest of the room was pretty "normal".

My husband said it reminded him of the scene in the restaraunt from Bad Grandpa. So everytime I walked into the toliet, I thought of just that.....

Now it's time to get back on track with goals for this New Year..... Start making lists & getting things done..... Well, maybe tomorrow - today is the last day of Winter Break & we start back into a routine tomorrow..... 

I do have to say that I composed this entire message from my phone using the blogger app..... I don't particularly like  composing things only phone, but giving it a try for when I can't make it to the computer...
