Day 1 - 100 Days Project Challenge

So a friend of mine posted a challenge this past week called 100 Days Project.
You can find out more information about the actual challenge HERE.
But basically she challenged us to do something creative for the next 100 days.
Something, anything you wanted....
I chose to keep it as general as Stamping.
Then I can play with a lot of different ideas & techniques.

This was the first stamp set I pulled out of my case and I saw the bee and thought I would stamp something with that.
I grabbed some of my patterned paper (just recently put away in it's new home), a scrap of yellow paper, a card base, my ink pads and a few other tools.

I stamped my image using the Happy Everything stamp set that is currently available HERE
Grab it now for $17.95 until August 31st.
This is an Operation Smile set and they donate a portion of the sale of each stamp to help fix a child's smile!
You can read more about the program HERE.

Then I inked the edges of the yellow paper with my new Chalk Ink - It's hard to read but it's by Prima - Ingvild Bolme Fluid Chalk Ink.
One thing I love to do to make things pop is ink or chalk the edges.... I think I may need more of these little babies.... It worked super smooth and some of my others are getting pretty old.
This was a supply I picked up at a neat little store in Los Gatos called Scrapbook Island.

The card base was textured so I cut my background paper down a bit so it would show through.
I added a bit of bling to it with one of my new favorites.... Wink of Stella.

So now Day 1 of my 100 Days Project is done!

Do you need a challenge? Ask your friends, crafty buddies or just on Facebook and see who wants to join you. It can be anything that you want to do for the 100 days.

Enjoy!

  1. I like the sound of this challenge. It might be something I need to pursue after hubby deploys - it'd be a perfect way to keep busy!
