Craft project re-do - Finished!

Ok, so it took me longer than I imagined, but really it just sat on the dining room table getting buried by things while I was waiting for my other projects to catch up to the point of sewing the last part together.
Does that make sense?

I learned a few things along the way.....

1. This sucker is going to be harder to store now, but hopefully it will stay in better shape.
2. I should have sewed the presents down before adding the Pellon interfacing - There was just no way to maneuver this monster under the machine to get all the twists and turns that the presents needed.
3. And that the cat would eventually find it and figure it was a great place to take a nap. Luckily, only the top portion was unburied for him to crash on, so it was too bad.

But, I can take all these new learned things and put them to use if I ever decide to make another one for the future.
I still have the ornaments to consider & re-make, re-do, re-vamp.... but, you know what my craft list is every growing and that will be something I may pull out before decorating next Christmas.

I sewed one ring on the back of the star so it could hang and then I'll have to add some more next year when I put it on the wall to make it stay put. Then I can just hang up a 3M Command hook and hang it on that.

Now, to find a place to store the sucker.... the thought has crossed my mind to make a garment bag just to house this puppy.

Off to finish some more projects!
Have a great day!
