I did it!

I finally did it.... I got one of the Daily chores done that has been staring at me for a while.

*Please note - this was done & taken on Thursday....

I mopped the floors....

 See... see.... they kind of sparkle. Ok -well, not really, but they look much better and they may have sparkled if it hadn't been a dreary, rainy, dark day out when I took the photo.

And here are my helpers.... I managed to do this after breakfast while both kids were up.... sure they walked through it a few times, but that's ok.

And then I felt compelled to try to get some more stuff done... I was on a roll. 

So I tackled this:

Our dining room table, currently serving as my craft & all-purpose table. 

Yes, that is the sheet I used over a week ago to paint my LOVE letters.... it has not been cleared since for me to uncover it. 

And, I just want to say.... I took this photo AFTER I had started to clear stuff away.... it was way worse. 

Well, the after photo is still waiting to happen.
I got a good space cleared and look what happened.....

It's so hard to resist starting the next project when you get a space cleared. 

Here are the Valentine's shirts I had in mind to create. 

 

And you saw in the first photo I had planned to make one for my son, but after getting the heart ready to attach to the shirt, I decided against it....
I had purchased a Valentine's shirt for him when I couldn't find a plain color and just decided he would look better in it than a heart shirt I made.

 I think these turned out pretty cute.

Now, I think I have used up all the extra hearts I had, well except all the little, little ones I cut from the scraps.
My next project I'd like to make would be some matching hair bows for the girls....
Here was my first attempt:

I sat down to attempt it several time... even opened the computer you see in the background and tried to watch several how-to videos.....

However, I just couldn't seem to get an idea to run with.... I hate to cut up a bunch of ribbon and then have it turn to crap. 

But, I am going to tackle that hurdle and at least attempt it....

We shall see....
