Heart Garland

Well, you are probably tired of seeing this by now...

I know I am, but probably not for the reason you think....

This is the photo of the idea I found on Pinterest

It looked so cute the way they had it done....
And mine just did not look as cute. When I sewed it together, the shapes just didn't seem to go together as well as this photo above seems to show.
It bugged me.....

Ok, so roll your eyes... I'm pregnant, there are a lot of things that bug me right now.
Case and point:

A couple weeks ago,
I had pulled several photo frames and a few of my frogs out of moving boxes in the garage to put up on this decor shelf area in our living room.
When he had a moment to put them up, I HATED it....
It bugged me so bad that I was almost in tears....
it was haunting me.
And it had only been up less than an hour.
I managed through the afternoon and when he got home again, I had him take them all down.
It was terrible. He was leaving the next morning for a week long business trip & I just knew I could not live with those up there.....
I told him they had to come down or I would find someway for my preggo butt to get them down.
I couldn't stand it!

So the garland bugged me.... LOL!
It just didn't look right to me hanging up on the mantel.
Again, while laying in bed in an insomnia moment I had a crazy idea...
I decide to rip all the sewing out...
Yep! Crazy!

So I did it and you know what, it went really quickly. I think it took more time to sew them together than it did for me to rip the stitches out.
Luckily, I had used a bigger stitch.
I just sat in front of CSI on the tv and grabbed my seam ripper..... done in no time!
Then I took my needle and thread and just stitched them individually together.
And even that.... didn't take much time at all.

And maybe it didn't make much difference at all, but I sure think it looks better than before.

And who knows.... by next year I will have found another "must-do" craft on Pinterest for Valentines Day!
